Terms of Service
Effective May 8, 2026
These are the terms under which we offer the Together Tomorrow app to you. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
1. Who provides the app
Together Tomorrow is operated by Haim Scheibler ("we," "us," "our"), based in Kansas, United States. Contact: questions@togethertomorrow.us.
The app is distributed through Apple's App Store and Google Play Store ("the platforms"). Your use of those platforms is governed separately by Apple's and Google's terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is older), to create an account. The app is intended for use by married adults.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the security of the account you sign in with (Apple ID, Google account, or email address). If you lose access to that account, you may lose access to the app's data tied to it.
You may have only one account per person. Sharing an account with someone who is not your spouse is not the design of the app and may produce unexpected behavior.
4. The household model
A "household" is the unit of the app: two partners share one household. The first partner to create the household is the founder. The founder shares an invite code with their spouse, who joins to become the second partner. Each household holds at most two members.
- Either partner may leave a household at any time through Settings. Leaving removes your access; the remaining partner keeps the household.
- Only the founder may delete an entire household, which permanently removes all of its content (including the other partner's notes). This is irreversible. The other partner can reach the founder to ask for deletion if needed.
- If the founder leaves before the spouse, founder rights transfer to the spouse automatically.
5. Content & content ownership
You retain all rights in any text you write in the app (including private notes). We do not claim ownership of your content.
The weekly readings, framings, questions, and Tikvah closings are derived from public-domain Jewish source texts (Tomer Devorah, Chovos HaLevavos, Tehillim, Mishlei, etc.) and from later works (The Sabbath by Heschel, the Nineteen Letters by Hirsch, teachings of the Chassidic masters) used either under fair use for educational and devotional purposes, with attribution, or in adapted form. The compilation, framing, sequencing, and discussion prompts are our original creative work and may not be reproduced or distributed in bulk without permission.
You may freely:
- Use the content within the app for your personal weekly practice
- Print individual weeks for use at your own table
- Generate the year-end PDF and share it privately with your spouse or household, or print a personal copy
- Quote a verse, question, or short passage in a personal context (for example, sharing one with a rabbi or a close friend)
You may not:
- Republish the compiled work as a whole, in print or digital form
- Distribute the year-end PDF or any substantial portion of the content publicly or commercially
- Use the content to train any machine learning model
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app to harass, threaten, or impersonate another person
- Attempt to access another household's data
- Reverse-engineer the app's security model or attempt to defeat its Firestore rules
- Use the app to distribute illegal content, malware, or spam
- Use any automated tool to access the app's content beyond ordinary use
7. Free of charge, "as is"
The app is currently provided free of charge, with optional support tiers. We may add paid features in the future; we will give clear notice if we ever do so for existing functionality.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranty that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be preserved indefinitely. We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the app working and the data safe, but we cannot guarantee either. Make a backup of any private content you cannot afford to lose — the gift PDF export is the simplest way.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the app is limited to the greater of (a) what you have paid us in the last twelve months for the app, or (b) USD 100.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or emotional distress, even if we have been advised of the possibility.
This section does not limit any liability that cannot be limited by applicable law (for example, gross negligence or willful misconduct in some jurisdictions).
9. Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, typically after attempting to give you notice and a reasonable chance to cure where possible.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law) survive.
10. Changes to these terms
We will update these terms when the app's structure or features change. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated in-app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after the change constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Johnson County, Kansas. This does not deprive consumers of any mandatory protections under the laws of their place of residence.
